sam Christopher Walker has been a client of mine since 2005, but it was not until December of 2006 that he got really serious about transforming his body composition. It began as a joke over dinner with another fellow trainer, Corey Fabre. They were both over their ideal weight, Christopher at 200lbs and Corey was at 195lbs, and made a bet that each of them could reach their desired weight by April 6 2007 for the Crescent City Classic. There was a twist; however, whoever failed to reach their goal weight, Christopher's goal was 175lbs and Corey was 158lbs, would have to show up at the gym the Monday following the race in neon colored biking shorts, a baby tee, and a jester's hat and actually work out at peak training times (5pm - 6:30 pm). They both agreed. I had never seen Christopher so focused and work so diligently. Come the weigh in day, both of them not only reached their weigh in goal...the exceeded it. Christopher hit 173lbs and reduced his body fat to 17% from 26%. Corey hit 156lbs and reduced his body fat to 10% from 17%. We all ran the Crescent City under an hour and, fortunately, neither of them had to wear the outfit that Monday.
